Hello and welcome back to the blog here at Global Vending! Today, we wanted to share a recent Inchy story! Inchy’s newest venture takes him to a southern Texas elementary school. Kyle Elementary School in El Paso, Texas is installing its very own book vending machine.

This book vending machine, like all of Inchy’s others, dispenses knowledge in the form of books to eager children, rather than sugary snacks or bubbly drinks. Teachers and educators at the elementary school have been wanting to bring this kind of book dispensing machine after they held their read-a-thon in March last school year.

We’ve mentioned some other book machines that have been installed in Texas recently, you can find those mentions on our blog! This machine is the third in elementary schools in the Austin ISD, with the others being at Pleasant Hill and McBee.

The machine is filled with rows of books for each grade level’s reader. Students receive a special gold inchy token to take to the book vending machine when they’ve read a number of books. The best part? The kids get to keep their books to grow their own libraries!
